2. Cormorant drying out its wings in preparation for liftoff.
3. Cormorant ducking for prey. Shot at 1/3200th of a second to catch the moment the head snapped into the water leaving a temporary hole in the water.
4. A cardinal alighted nearby and seemed to be posing for a portrait.
5. That same cardinal then flew to a nearby tree and seemed to be scolding the nearby paparazzi for invading his space.
