Funny, great timing; there is a potential use for every shot!

Outstanding photo! And the bird has the talent to form it's fecal matter into the profile shape of a duck!

I could do that if I wanted to but I don’t want to. Because if I did I’d be arrested or thrown into a loony bin.

Great shot, that's why I never approach a raptor from behind. You would be surprised how far they can squirt and you would be amazed how hard it is to get off the camera and lens. A clear glass filter helped a little bit

When I'm out photographing nature, I am usually ready for anything. Sometimes I'm caught by surprise...but with my shutter speed set at 1/1000, I often am able to capture the unexpected. In this photo, I was ready to photograph an Osprey getting ready to fly from a piling in the Chesapeake Bay. In stead of flying...well, the photo tells the story (though the title of the photo "Osprey Poops a Duck" also tells the story). For fun, I placed the photo in one of my gallery shows and it was bought by a gastroenterologist.
