My wife and I recently returned from a river cruise Amsterdam to Budapest. The route was Rhine to Maine to Danube. We saw very little sunshine along the way. Fortunately, we had fair skies for the Danube Gorge segment of the trip.

Superb series!! Reminds me of our trip years ago from. Basil, Switzerland to Amsterdam. “Castle Alley” along the river was a highlight for us.

Got back from the Budapest to Amsterdam cruise 2 weeks ago today. We had beautiful weather everyday. We heard about your 2 weeks of rain from the ship staff. Cruise director David mentioned how great our weather was compared to the 2 weeks before. We were on the Viking Bragi and had a good time.
