Great conversion I never thought to do. I wonder how it would look in Pencil Sketch?

Nice capture for sure!! I’m partial to color however.
I am also partial top color, but I wanted to do a high key of this one.
I just saw a video by Steve Perry on making high-key images, and I wanted to try it.
Color is always good with these guys, but this one was a female, I think, and there wasn't that much color. so I tried something different.

Thank you, you are right. Not a lot of difference.

I like it, thanks. Maybe not a lot of difference, but it certainly brings it up to another level. That is a real high-key.

When I read the title I wondered why anyone would choose to make a black and white of a hummingbird, but to my surprise, I really like it!
It was an experiment, and I like it. I might try other photos that I never thought that I would do.

Nice image. But it does get me pondering about why it is that I enjoy these colorful birds.
I enjoy them also. I think that the B&W makes it more aabstract. It is a different way to look at these birds.

A top-notch shot, topcat 🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨
Almost looks like a "pencil sketch" image.
