Yesterday at the South Shore of Waikiki we experienced the biggest swell of the year.., 12-14ft .., which is huge for the South Shore coming into summer.
I took my D7200 with a 200-500 5.6 /750mm equiv and out I went , noted that the same lens on my D850 after cropping yields about the same so I keep a prime on that camera for other stuff …
The distance was 150 yards to the surf break , so quite a distance . Hand held standing on a jetty with no bracing but using 1/3000 .., with the constant lens f5.6 …
Download usually works with or without sun screen …
