Last night I received and installed the latest update to Topaz Denoise AI.
So here is a 4 picture series of the same image: OOC-cropped only, then processed including the last version of Denoise AI and then that image run through the latest update of Denoise AI and finally run through the latest Gigapixel AI. I did not use Sharpen AI since the OOC was sharp.
You can see differences at each stage. Especially if you do a double download and then enlarge, there are sometimes subtle differences.
#1 OOC cropped only
#2 Processed, colors, contrast etc. tweaked, Denoise AI and enlarged a bit
#3 #2 run through the newest version of Denoise AI with last night's update
In both #2 & #3 Denoise AI was in the "Clear" mode.
#4 enlarged with Gigapixel AI (with yesterday's updates) at 2x
I have Denoise AI, Sharpen AI and Gigapixel AI and consider them well worth the money.
I will also post this as thread of its own.
OOC 1st crop

Download)
Edited, colors, constrast etc. and object in lower left removed and picture rotated slightly with new crop

Last image redone in the newest Denoise AI - there is a subtle difference
(

Then #3 run through the latest update of Gigapixel AI at 2x

Very nice. When you start with a good image subtle changes can be a plus.
I would probably used DeNoise, followed by ACR and let it go at that. Your original shot is clear and sharp. If you are shooting RAW you must use color correction and other tweaks and the use of DeNoise AI never hurts. No reason to use Gigapixel unless you are going to print large.
Hum, ya, do we really need full-frame ... expensive cameras? NO
Can we make do with the good one we bought 3 years ago? YES
Can we fix a photo from 10 years ago? YES
Roberts's study is well done. I agree from my experience with AI, that when money counts pick priorities ...As Robert says: "I have Denoise AI, Sharpen AI and Gigapixel AI and consider them well worth the money."

You did see that this was an experiment, right? It came about because of the thread asking if the Topaz AI apps were worth the money. And this series was first posted on that thread.
I shoot RAW only except for a couple of older cameras-like my little pocket zoom-that don't do RAW.
I print up to 13x19 so don't really need Gigapixel but it was part of the sale bundle with Denoise and Sharpen.

And I only got Gigapixel because it was part of the sale bundle - I only print to 13x19.
