These love buzzing around my deck. They're not drilling holes in the composit flooring but don't know if they are or not in the treated lumber frame.

Nice capture, Jerry. If they are around, they are drilling somewhere close by. I fight those little critters all summer long.

I make traps for them, I get them all in these traps, no problem with these destructive bees, they will eat your wood apart.

I bought a trap at a hardware store. Works great. About $25.00

They are nasty! We had a couple drilling on our deck a couple of years ago.

Hell, if it weren't for carpenter bees I wouldn't have ANY pollinators in my garden. So think twice before you destroy them.
