Is this good enough?

I love this image. The tree branch, I think, is spectacular. But there were people on the far left, and one of them had on a really bright shirt. So they ruined the shot. There were several signs on the right, so I tried to take them out. That worked pretty well, but I really struggled with the people. I'd like some opinions, please.

My internet is down, and I'm having to work from my phone. It's annoyingly slow!

Kathy, that is quite good. I wish the bench was a bit more prominent in the scene. I love its placement within the photograph but being in shadow it loses its place as a subject in the photograph.

Kathy, other than photographing this at a time of day where the bench is more illuminated, I'd suggest some dodging to lighten it a bit.

I agree. It's a lovely bench. I really don't know what I could do to bring it out more. I'd like to make it stand out more perhaps. Do you have any suggestions?

If it was mine I would mess with the bench just a bit and then put it on my wall

Great choice of subject nicely shot. I agree with the others, I would do something to bring out the bench

The cloning is fine. This is the sort of shot that may be better taken in more diffuse light. The highlights are too harsh and the shadows are too deep.

It's a gorgeous tree. I'm amazed that the branch doesn't fall! Thank you.

In a perfect world, that might happen. In the real world we have to take what's offered. Thanks

I think you did a good job of deleting the people. Now it's time to clone some branches where they used to be so there are no fuzzy spots there.

That's exactly my concern, Edie. I can't seem to make the replacement look real. Thanks so much for your suggestions.

Since it's a jumble of nature, I would clone an area and add it to where the people were. I don't think viewers will look too closely.
