Prominences on the Sun April 30 2022

A couple of shots from yesterdays action on the Sun.
Shot with a Skyris 236M CMOS video camera through a Lunt 60mm Pressure tuned solar scope
Stacked 100 frames of video using Autostakkert3 and processed in Photoshop 2022.
The full solar image is a composite of 2 shots stitched using Microsoft ICE. (I can't get the full image in one shot so I shot 2 halves and stitched.)
Stay safe.

Excellent images. It might be neat to try some HDR compositing to see the surface detail and the prominences in the same image.

What I sometimes do is shoot for detail and then for prominence activity and overlay the detail over the overexposed area.
It depends on how much work I want to do. 😆

Thank you for the compliment.
