iPhone case...

Does anyone make a snap on case so that the phone fits more comfortably in your hands with some sort of grip ? I envision something akin to a small mirrorless design which can snap on to phone.. Maybe have strap lugs etc... this is my main complaint about phone photography... not comfortable.

Check to see if Otter Box makes one for your phone.
I have one for my Galaxy Android.
Makes it a bit bulkier, but does protect it.

I use a otter hard phone case that fits my phone. I use this case because of the environment I work in. It does not interfere with photography and the control/functions are easily available. Cases can be found online, at target, best buy, and many other outlets/stores.

Thanks for comments... I can't seem to find what I want though. I envision something that looks and feels like my small Olympus with a good grip that my iPhone can snap Onto or slide into... pref. with strap lugs. I have a great case on it now but it is still a basic rectangle with no grip.

That narrows it down somewhat....
My Otter Box affords a better grip for me than the bare phone.

NOW we are getting somewhere.... Thank you Greg. I have GREAT tripod mount but needed something with grip to better hold phone. This looks really interesting.

I noticed that there was even a remote control. Almost wants me to buy it myself. If you get it, let us know how it works.

Now THIS is exactly what I am looking for... Pictar Pro/Charge smartphone grip. A little pricy but seems like a lot of features for someone who REALLY wants to get into smartphone camera usage. Excuse the image quality, taken from monitor screen.

Here's a review video on the Pictar Pro. Not very promising. My thoughts on it is it looks very clunky and the controls are sporadic.

Are you having problems just griping your phone and taking photos or is it you want something that makes your phone feel like a regular camera grip? Currently, I am using an IPhone 13 Pro Max with a Peak Design Phone case that has a finger strap built in on the back. Sliping my finger into the loop allows me to comfortably hold my phone while taking photos. In addition, I use the Peak Design Lease strap attached that allows me to carry the phone hands free when I am out shooting.

Case: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1661870-REG/peak_design_m_lc_ae_ch_1_mobile_everyday_smartphone_case.html/?ap=y&ap=y&smp=y&smp=y&lsft=BI%3A514&gclid=Cj0KCQjwma6TBhDIARIsAOKuANzTxEy6kbLIuQAPE60p2FwnRoZneLj_HRfYa1ZI8S4AC4TkwFkpbgcaAlgfEALw_wcB

Strap: It comes with quick disconnect so you can take the strap off quickly when you aren't using it:

I will order this one when black or blue becomes available (Noooo Pink). I like the small size with option for tripod mounting and detachable remote.

My last 3 cases for my IPhone were purchased from Amazon called i-Blason. Comes with its own screen protector. I’ve purchased for others also. My brother asked for the item name and he ordered one for a friend.
