el Perfect0 of being there Hip Coyote. Bright colors and even algae growing on the cobblestone give it a real look.
The photo has horizontal and vertical references OK. Only nit-pick, add a tad of color to the sky.

Thanks. And good point. As usual once I see something like that I cannot not see it. So I’ll work on it.
Thanks!

Yes, not seeing then seeing is a universal built-in our brain problem. For the Camera Club, I would hang a photo over the coffee expresso machine and circle details more and more as it becomes less immediately mine. The head judge still sits on my left sholder.
I agree with Don, it’s very attractive - reminds me of a shot I took in Portmerion, North Wales, UK, where colour can grab you before design at times.
Most likely, the color scheme would not pass muster with the boards of most gated communities. But I like it!
I like everything about the photograph, the bright colors, the neighborhood, the clothes drying on the line, the stone walkway, everything.
I do notice in the upper left hand corner an area that seems somewhat ghostlike for lack of a better description. It is right above the green window. Is that something from the lens OR just reflection or another light problem on that particular area of the photo. It does not necessarily detract from the photo but is different.
Well done photo in my opinion,
Dennis
So nice to see such color! All the new developments around here are so drab and identical.

This was in Burano, Italy. An island off of Venice. The whole place was like this. Cool.

Ed Lee here! Beautiful, a keeper! I just equalized the tones and tried to increase the dynamic range. You might add a little more clarity. I used my goto software, Nikon Capture NX2 which incorporates NIK's "Control Points." I hate layers!
Be well! Ed
Thanks Ed...it looks a little orangey for me..but let me take a harder look when I get to a larger monitor.

Hip!
I left the image that way to get a sense of warmth! Plus I'm using a Dell laptop which I haven't calibrated so I'm eyeballing it!
Be well! Ed
Nice colorful image and good composition Hip. Would drive my HOA nuts!
