Band-tailed Pigeon Our Yard 4-25-2022 Fortuitous Capture

While looking for the dog I saw this beautiful bird-a Band-tailed Pigeon munching on chicken feed in the farm area. I happened to have my D850 with 500pF attached so I took a few images-132 to be exact.
This bird migrated from South of here-California, Arizona and so forth, according to Merlin. They come here to breed. Did not see a mate although my wife tells me that two pigeons were hanging around our main Duck house earlier in the day.
All shots were taken through a fence as in #1. The damn dog started barking at something or other and the bird flew off-just like that!
