I sure wouldn't buy Twitter..........however it would be nice to buy everyone on UHH the gear of their dream.

Well if you had $44 billion to throw on a dream, you might feel differently! Since you already had anything you could want, why not buy a pulpit that you (as well as your friends) could shout from without any interference from anyone.
PS. My personal dream is to buy an exotic island with a house with a view of the ocean and watch the waves come in (not sure how long I would last there).

St Jude's would get a lot. Then I'd make a lot of people more comfortable.

I'd have to hide it somewhere so I wouldn't lose my food stamps!

Why not buy an influential platform. All the other top .00001% of America's super wealthy (over $66 Billion net worth) have done so. What frustrates some, as usual, is the political lens they look through.

Twitter is not the end of our collective world. I suspect many on this site never even use it. Let's carry on taking photos!

Cheers!

I would do all I could to feed the hungry. There are far too many starving people in the world.

No sense wondering, not going to happen. I'll enjoy what I have and every day is a gift!

But who sets the ‘rich’ threshold?

The old definition of ‘enough’ is probably similar: ‘just a little more’.

Being rich and living rich are two different things. Like so many farmers, my mom lived modestly but died wealthy. However, most of that wealth was tied up in land and wasn’t available unless she sold the place. There’s also a bigger difference between living rich and living “richly “. I live quite modestly (my ex said she didn’t like being married to a tightwad) but I live richly. One daughter and her two boys live across the pasture and we eat several meals together each week, we go for walks with the kids, take the cameras along, I show the boys woodworking techniques, have Nerf gun wars and so on. Life is for living, not spending.
