Weeds are Beautiful

I went fishing today but the fish were not cooperating. I doubt I will starve but fresh fish would have been great for dinner. I had to settle for other things to photograph. I liked these two weeds and hope you will too.

I like the term 'flowering plant'... that covers them all, from the trees to the tiniest specimen. Very few of them don't make a pretty picture, just like these and they'll pose for you all year round if you have access to an indoor garden. My favorite targets. 👍

Thank you very much for your comment and for taking a look. I have heard weeds called by any number of names to make them sound like more than weeds. All are perfectly acceptable to me. In my own case I prefer to think of them as flowers grown only by God. He has done a really great job of them too. Usually just as beautiful as any man grown flower.

Thank you niteman3d for your great comment. Weeds are called any number of names and they all work for me. My favorites are those right in the forests, desert, anywhere other plants would usually not do well. These were very tiny, smaller than a dime yet still beautiful.

A weed is a flower growing somewhere we don't want it. It becomes a weed only by the choice of humans. That makes a rose growing in an onion patch is a weed.
