Select frame from video

I would like to select the frame showing my grandson blocking the penality kick to win his teams tournament game. I was not at the game and this video was taken with a camera phone. Quality is questionable. Is there anyone here that can extract that frame or tell me how? I have PS and LR on my computer but it will not load the file. The error message in PS is "could not open video000000.mp4 because the DynamicLink Media Server is not available.

Thanks in advance.

You can freeze the video then use speed scrubbing to select the frame and take a screenshot (I tried it on my phone) . (There may be better more sophisticated ways).

The video edit software programs that I'm familiar with all have a frame capture feature. The (free) video player called "VLC" can do it too.

Your video is only 460x260. Nothing I know records that low, even phones. Where is the original?

(I'm checking the store original box but UHH is not accepting it.)

I grabbed a frame using VLC and then blew it up about 25x using On1 Resize. If you had a larger file it would be considerably more detailed.

On1 Resize did a good job! I considered using Adobe's resizing choices and didn't.

I did as good as anyone else, no better, so will not post. The file is WAY to small. It is only 460x 260 I can denoise sharpen and enlarge, but you can not see the ball or details, no matter what I do. It is way to small to start. Can you get us the original full size video. Save it to a cloud account and post the link. It will be to big to upload to the hog. Or email the video to me if you can.

Same as frankramy, the file is too small to get anything in a single frame.
In Win 10 you can just do a Snip(used to be PrintScreen) and get just as good as anything.

If you get the original and it is an "HD", 1920x1080 clip, each frame is the equivalent of a 2 megapixel image. If shot at 4K, you will get an 8 megapixel image. 2MP works up to about an 8x10 print but will be a little fuzzy. I've had 8MP frames work to 13x19 prints.

It was a 1080p clip of my granddaughter that made me figure out what a "frame grab" is. This girl is now in college! It is fuzzy, but you still make out a determined expression while she is trying to hit it out of the park.

4K frame grabs are a lot better. As an example, this is a frame grab from a low end drone set at 4K30. The subject is the baseball girl's father!
