First, I do think Morgan is a hack. And I do not follow the NY Post.

I am pretty certain I read this account which is written by Morgan on the Fox website. Fox seems to have pulled the story as I could not find it this morning...I found the account on the NY Post site...verbatim the same.

I don't particularly believe his account of their meeting before the interview, but the comments he ascribes to Trump sound so trumplike! It's quite believable from that perspective.

Trump ranted at Morgan and the hopes of the interview seemed dashed...then Morgan convinced him to do the interview by flattering Trump about a hole in one. Trump loves flattery.

There has been conflicting press about the interview.

But Morgan's account of their conversation before the interview is at least interesting.

Interview was heavily edited.
Trump had a second independent camera and has released the complete unedited Interview. Totally different from the edited version.

I have not seen either version of the interview.

I just found Morgan's comments on the pre-interview conversation very interesting.

It is a one sided account written by Morgan. He could have fabricated it, but would that not leave him open to legal remedies by Trump.

Much as I have little respect for Morgan, would he have fabricated Trump being furious about his old tweets and comments, and then warming up to flattery about his hole in one, then claiming to have had seven hole in ones, which is just a tiny bit doubtful, and deciding to do the interview because of the shallow flattery?

It is all just so bizarre. But what else should one expect from a Morgan-Trump conversation. They are both so bizarre.

If anyone actually believes Trump's claim about 7 holes-in-one, they should read the book by former sportswriter Rick Reilly titled: "Commander in C***t: How Golf Explains Trump".

It's full of instances of Trump's total disregard of the rules of golf as witnessed by PGA Tour Pros and sportswriters. Bottom line, he's a known prolific c***ter.

Sorry, more biased BS from TDS fools.

This Not from Amazon where your dishonest guy is trying to sell his book.
This is from Google:
"Trump has won a total of 19 club championships in his golfing period. Surely, it will be quite interesting to see what the Handicap Index of the former US President is. According to the United States Golf Association's GHIN system, in 2016, Trump's handicap index was a pretty decent 2.8."

And you believe that BS?

His claim of winning those club championships was what prompted the writing of the book. The vast majority of them were proclaimed by himself. He would play a round prior to opening one of his courses and then proclaim himself champion.

His handicap of 2.8 is also BS. A golf handicap is determined by recording your 20 most recent rounds. When he stated that his handicap was 2.8 his records were checked by the author and only one round was recorded and that was a 96. The author, who is a 4 8 handicap challenged Trump to a match with the loser donating $100,000 to charity. Trump did not take him up on the challenge.

Trump once played a round with Mike Tirico from ESPN. During the round Tirico hit a nice approach shot to a par 5 which left him a birdie putt. The only problem was that when he reached the green his ball was in a sand trap 50 feet from the hole. After the round Trump's caddy told Tirico that his ball was about 10 feet from the hole, but Trump picked it up and threw it in the sand trap.

That's how your hero plays golf...and there are many more stories, some from PGA Tour Pros who played with Trump. Brad Faxon played as Trump's partner against Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson. Faxon said Trump recorded his score on one hole neglecting to record two balls he hit in the water.

You really need professional help, why to you insist on telling the same lies over and over again?

Rac, this is just one of many search hits for ...

... "I am not part of wh**ever drug deal Sondland and Mulvaney are cooking up,” John Bolton.

The searched for 'Trump stories' will never go away. He beat the rap. Be thankful but don't tell us he was framed.

"I Knew John Bolton Liked Regime Change, I Just Assumed He Meant Overseas"

https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/a29472603/john-bolton-rudy-giuliani-hand-grenade-drug-deal/

" ... The mustachioed crazy person who spent about 11 minutes as the national security adviser to El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago—until this administration* became too crazy even for Bolton, a philosophical concept that scholars will still be discussing when we first land on Neptune—was the star in absentia of the testimony given Monday by Fiona Hill, the former Russian expert in the employ of Camp Runamuck. According to Hill via The New York Times, Bolton delivered the line of the decade while discussing Rudolph Giuliani's most excellent Ukrainian adventure.

The aide, Fiona Hill, testified that Mr. Bolton told her to notify the chief lawyer for the National Security Council about a rogue effort by Mr. Sondland, Mr. Giuliani and Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff, according to the people familiar with the testimony.

“I am not part of wh**ever drug deal Sondland and Mulvaney are cooking up,” Mr. Bolton, a Yale-trained lawyer, told Ms. Hill to tell White House lawyers, according to two people at the deposition. (Another person in the room initially said Mr. Bolton referred to Mr. Giuliani and Mr. Mulvaney, but two others said he cited Mr. Sondland.)

It was not the first time Mr. Bolton expressed grave concerns to Ms. Hill about the campaign being run by Mr. Giuliani. “Giuliani’s a hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up,” Ms. Hill quoted Mr. Bolton as saying during an earlier conversation.

Bolton is no hero. You will note that we only know about this exchange through Hill's testimony, and not through anything Bolton has said or done in service of the ongoing impeachment inquiry. He remains a dangerous monger of war who should be kept out of government for the same reasons we keep wolverines out of meat lockers. But even someone like Bolton recognizes the importance of, well, coherence in running a government.

The testimony revealed in a powerful way just how d******e Mr. Giuliani’s efforts to extract damaging information about Democrats from Ukraine on President Trump’s behalf were within the White House. Ms. Hill, the senior director for European and Russian affairs, testified that Mr. Giuliani and his allies circumvented the usual national security process to run their own foreign policy efforts, leaving the president’s official advisers aware of the rogue operation yet powerless to stop it.

At one point, she confronted Mr. Sondland, who had inserted himself into dealings with Ukraine even though it was not part of his official portfolio, according to the people informed about Ms. Hill’s testimony. He told her that he was in charge of Ukraine, a moment she compared to Secretary of State Alexander M. Haig Jr.’s declaration that he was in charge after the Ronald Reagan assassination attempt, according to those who heard the testimony.
