Not at all. It is a great additional technique to have available...for the reasons that I clearly stated. But I do not see it as a cure-all fot every situation. As stated, I'll switch it on and use it as appropriate. And it will be great. But not necessary for everything.
The only time I wish I did nit have my camera on BBF is when I hand over the camera to someone else to take a picture of me (or me in the pic with others) and I have to explain how to Focus.
