They always want their suet or seeds refilled...they make me wash the windows all the time....they have a picnic & scatter their shells all over....just don't know why I bother!

I think the pictures show why you bother. Very nice. My bird feeders also can be a pain...filling, cleaning trying to keep the squirrels at bay, but they are enjoyable feathered friends.

I agree with that's why we bother. I never was that interested in bird photography until the fall of 2021 I had around 25 hummingbirds and 4 feeders, and my intrest really came into being. By the way that's a very nice set.

Good morning "Mustanger",

I have a feeling you absolutely love these little precious fellow Earthlings just as much as, I would guess, nearly all of us UHH'ers. Your great images show your very real appreciation of them. Keep on shooting / posting.

All the best to you and yours,

Terry

Thanks JimmyTB...I really LOVE my birds! I was being facetious, they give me hours of enjoyment. I look forward to every day as a new adventure what am I going to see today! Plus it is nice on winter days to be inside all cozy & warm and still get to catch the beautiful visitors! Thanks again for commenting! Walt

Hi stillkickin, love your handle, can't believe how much I enjoy this hobby either! I just looked but never really saw the variety of birds all around us untill about 5-6 years ago. Some friends think I have to travel all over to get my pics but 95% are around my house! Nice to have our eyes OPEN & really see what is there! Thanks for enjoying my birds too! Walt

Cute little pests.

Same reason I do it and my wife semi approves, it keeps me off the streets and out of trouble - sorta. Not to mention the sound track for the block now has something besides the delivery trucks with the dogs barking at them.

We live just a few miles away, in Merlin, on 13 acres. We also feed the birds also every day. However the difference is I keep forgetting to grab photographs because other things seem more important. So love your photos!
