My son sent me this photo. It's not very good. It's from his trail camera. A rather good capture though. I posted it because the subject matter is interesting. I wonder if the squirrel got away or was he lunch?

If I were to guess, I'd say the squirrel got away. They can be extremely fast and agile while climbing a tree and are able to maneuver from one side to the other much quicker than a bird of prey can fly around the tree.
