As a Ride Captain with the Patriot Guard Riders we unfortunately run into this situation often. Most cities now have ordinances that state the protesters must be 500 feet back from any funeral home, cemetarty etc. Some have made it further. One of the best I ever saw was fire trucks parked nose to nose 499 feet from the funeral home. Somehow most people never realized the WBC was there...... and NO you are not offending anyone.... I'd say its the protesters doing the offending.
Funny part of this organiazation (WBC) is they don't like being protested against ....interesting reading here:
http://k99.com/my-ride-to-westboro-baptist-church-a-huge-success/I also wonder why, if they are protected under the freedom of speech, why is everyone challenged and often persecuted if they are not "politcally correct....
Ding...Ding...Ding....you win and just think the state of Ill has no money...and they payed them to stand watch over them....the great Land of Lincoln are as we call it the land of broke

Well of course we were.... We stand for those who stand for us. There is nothing more humbling to stand on a tarmac holding an American Flag searching the skies for the first sight of a Kaletta Jet bringing one of our Fallen Heroes home. The ceremony is unbelievable...... what an honor to be able to be part of something so personal and then to be thanked for being there....omg everyone should experience it at least once.

We just need to bring ALL of our armed services personnel back from ALL of the various hell-holes they're fighting in RIGHT NOW and let those idiots and cretins blow themselves up from now until kingdom come. And take the WBC with them.
