Another long range tele closeup
I have had this terracotta bowl in the yard for a few years. Birds drank from it, the dogs drank from it but no one took a bath. So I moved it out from under the overhanging plants into the open. And now the Mockingbirds approve of it for both drinking and bathing. I see at least one there per day.
This morning when I first pulled the drapes over the sliding glass door I saw this one. I took some shots through the double pane glass and screen before trying to open the door for a clear shot. Sure enough when I opened the door the bird took off.
It took a bit of playing with settings to get it to look decent and not washed out and hazy. Not quite realistic but it looks OK.
I can't decide which of these two edits I like best they are so close.

👍! So mainly a watercolor filter effect applied to the background? I like the 2nd one a bit better, although they are pretty similar.

No filter, just out of focus (Bokeh) and I played with the color sliders a bit.
