Just curious.
How many of you use a dashcam?
How many of you have cameras front and rear?
I have both, and it gives me a sense of security in case something bad happens. I think it also makes me drive more cautiously because I don't want any of my stupid driving moves recorded. So far, I don't think the legal system can demand you dashcam footage to use against you.
When I use my GPS, that also records what's going on out front.
Front only, too messy installation in the rear, too lazy to have it installed professionally.

Just for convenience, I ran a power line to the rear. I use it for an occasional charging socket and the rear camera. My rear camera is wired, but Wi-Fi is also available. Of course, even a Wi-Fi camera still needs power.

Front camera in vehicle and getting one installed on the back of the travel trailer.
I installed the front one after my daughter (dash cam installed) witnessed a red light runner which caused an accident and the runner said he had the right of way - her video showed the truth and allowed the victim to collect...
My Vehicle has 4 cameras.
When in reverse I get a view from top of vehicle 360 degrees around like I was above the vehicle.

My Honda Fit has a right side camera that turns on when I signal right and a backup camera - in addition to the two that I installed.

Better get a couple for the sides as well. Not quite sure how that 'left turn on red' thing works but it sounds like it's a probable source of accidents.

The only time you can turn left on red, here, is if it's a one way street going to your left.

In UK red in front of you means stop and do not pass.

My vehicle also has four cameras that provide the same view as your vehicle but it does not record data unfortunately.

Yes, and not many people know that.

May I ask, what is the point of cams that do not record? 🤔

I'm guessing it records video but not date, time, speed, etc.
