This a shot in the dark, but thought there might be someone in the Stanton, KY area that could recommend a tree removal company that would service that area. Appreciate your help as Googling has produced anything promising.

Do you have a yard service? You can ask them for a recommendation. Your yard person may have worked with one or may have had other customers recommend companies they use. That is how I found the one I use. Do you have a contractor for house repairs? He may have worked with someone that he recommends. How about asking a friend or neighbor. When I needed a roofer I called one that was recommended by my neighbor, one that was recommended by my insurance company and one recommended by another friend. I went with the one that my neighbor recommended. He offered a lot of information that helped me make the decision.
You can also use one of those services that you go on line and enter the information for what you need done and they have several companies get in touch. One of those online services even offers a "happiness guarantee" if you book and pay through them.

Good luck! Our method is to look for (and listen for) the sounds of chain saws and wood chippers. Then go out and get a card from someone.
