Really gotten into covering a lot of local 5k races and basically post to the event organizers Facebook page and to my own FB page but I’d love to have a better, more professional looking way to share. Would Flicker Pro be a good choice? I don’t mind to spend a little if I need to. However I do it the site would see traffic after I provide a link then would calm down. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I've been using SmugMug for a number of years to place all the race and other event photos in. Organisations as well as individual's have found it easy to access and download the images.

The link below will give you an idea of what can be done..........

Sharing as in displaying them or sharing as in sending (making the files available) to people?

Most runners will look through all the photos and lots will want to download a few of there favorites to repost or even print.

Thanks, I better understand your question now. I was kinda confusing the two.

Some people want to make available to download, as I do with family photos. No "display" required, I send a link to the files on One Drive so they (multiple people) can download them.

Some people want to display them to many people, and they can get what they want.

Sorry for the confusion.

Set up a subscription to Squarespace and build your own online portfolio with a dedicated domain name. Photo-sharing sites are fine, but your content is at the mercy of whoever is hosting. With Squarespace, you drive.

Is the learning curve very hard for someone with zero website development experience? I have a pretty basic site through WIX and it’s just to hard to get photos into, at least for me anyways.

I use Smugmug - a Lightroom plug-in that makes it easy to upload photos and you can set it to allow (or not) downloading of selected photos albums (and to selected people if you like).

Google photos works well, also have a look at Wetransfer (free and paid versions)

I think SmugMug might be a good choice for you. I have the Lightroom apps that directly upload to both Flickr and SmugMug. I use Flickr but I think SmugMug would be a better option for you--my church prefers SmugMug.

Whoa.."I don’t mind to spend a little if I need to"you may be on the wrong site. Free is the go-to direction. I use Smug Mug, it suits my needs and does the job.
