I have the Epson 3880, never used with all the accessories from the original box. Haven't decided yet, but considering selling it and buying something simpler- it may be beyond my needs or ability. I haven't researched it's value yet so have not settled on an asking price. I know the printer's capabilities and will keep it and figure everything out if I can't get value. The cost of new replacement cartridges is VERY HIGH-check it out. If you are not earning a money by printing and the print size is not necessary for your use( up to 17X20, then a cheaper printer might make more sense for you.

I would make you an offer but mine has been working flawlessly for 5 years now. Incidentally that model incorporates an automatic nozzle cover that keeps the ink from drying out and clogging heads between use. Always use only OEM Epson inks though.

I bought the 3880 new about five years ago. If memory serves, it was about $1000 with a complete set of ink cartridges. At that time, each cartridge was about $55. I believe the last cartridges I bought were $75 each. Multiply that by the number of cartridges and factor in years of depreciation and I suspect the printer alone is not worth much. And as others mentioned, there is the cost of shipping. You might as well keep it or perhaps consider donating it.

My 3880 apparently not repairable and don't want about $500 in ink to go to waste.
p900 not compatible with larger volume 3880 cartridges really pi### me off at Epson. Otherwise love the quality.

Thanks for the reminder about the nozzle cover. How often do you print with the 3880? Life got in the way just after I bought mine, but plan to jump back in now- might just keep it. I don’t think some realize the capabilities of this printer.

Also have a never used Epson V-700 scanner, but have definite needs/plans for it.
