Oh, what a difference a nice bath makes..! A soak in the tub, a box of chocolates, and a glass of wine with strawberries..! What girl wouldn't enjoy it..?
On the other hand...there's the tender brushing with alcohol, picking and lifting off bits of curd under the microscope, and gentle blow-drying. Repeat, repeat, repeat, and when finished it's into the pill bottle with a mothball and resting on a pillow made of a bit of paper towel for storage in the freezer.
She looks like a new girl now compared to her introduction photo posted yesterday.

Thanks, UTMike. She looks a lot different than the insecticide-soaked girl given to me.

Beautiful, sippy.
Thanks, Kpmac. I didn't know if I could salvage her, however, she cleaned up well.

Thanks, Curmudgeon. She was in pretty rough shape covered with an insecticide that had her hair matted and crud sticking to it. Cleaning specimens is a lot like "building a ship in a bottle" where each action has to be planned and executed tenderly or else it all falls apart.
