A little unusual shot of Lower Falls, taken in 2004. Kinda hard shot to get, I stepped up on a fence as I recall, to get the framing I wanted. Precarious at best, and a very quick snap. A most uncomfortable, and could not maintain it for proper technique. But sometimes you have to settle for what you get! Would have been much easier if I had had the tilt screen for this one. Bare minimum processing, if any.
I tried to retake it during a later visit, but could not. Hope you like it.
After attaching the image, did you wait for the upload acknowledgement and preview before clicking "Send"?
Or the image may be too large.

Only after 4 attempts to get the pict to attach.... Maybe file size, 3.58 MB.

Not sure if the size limit is 20Meg or not.
Is it a JPEG?
Are you seeing the preview?
Many people don't wait for that before clicking "Send".
Edit:
There we go, it's up.

Seems to take a little longer for the photo to load on the web site. Minute or so after the description.

Yes, it depends on how busy the UHH server is and your ISP (traffic).
Sometimes quick, sometimes not so quick.

Nice shot. Much better than any I've taken of the Lower Falls. My results are always very disappointing.

Thanks for the nice comment! As I remember, I could only stand relatively still for maybe 1 second to get the shot.

Good result!
Thanks! Even though it is not perfect, I know I liked the effect of the framing.
It's very nice. I have a couple I took at Artist's Point, but it's a different angle and no framing. I think I may have seen the shot you took, but decided I couldn't manage it.

Thanks for commenting, David! I needed a 4 ft. step ladder, but didn't bring one, lol. I had stepped up on that rail several times, before I managed to 'stay put', just long enough to frame and snap! I had set my zoom from ground level. Would have liked to have taken a shot with the pines in focus, for focus stacking. Just was not going to happen.
