Hi, Jay. Just to be a little picky, but it's ClarkDALE, and the headwaters are actually up near Peach Springs, AZ, and goes down and joins the Salt River near Phoenix. It is considered one of only 5 perennial rivers in Arizona. My wife is a native of Clarkdale, but I only lived there about 20 years. Nice photo, though.

Oops--yes, I fixed it, knew better. We were on the RR tour, and they told us it was near the headwaters. Thanks for taking a look.

Very pretty. I was actually born at the Verde River, in the Dispensary of the little village of construction workers building Bartlett Dam--my dad was one of the construction workers. Bartlett is the last dam on the Verde, about 60 miles north of Phoenix. I tell people that I was by a dam site born in a dam hospital.
