My first pick would be horse in fog, cat second. Minimalism to me does not mean lack of color or contrast, close up magnolia would be my second pick if a little darker and a little more contrast.

The pigeon fits very well to which I would call minimalism. As you can see there are different points of view from different people, the reason why the results of a competition are so unpredictable.
The horse in the fog and the scooter could also attract attention and make you a winner.
