I'm just curious... Suddenly my two Nest cameras and two Nest thermostats aren't connecting to the Nest apps on my phone and on my PC. My wifi network otherwise is OK, and the thermostat says it is happily connected to my wifi network.
I'm wondering if the problem is back at Google/Nest. Is anyone else having problems?

Oddly my CPAP machine isn't connecting to the internet anymore. There have been no changes by me to network or devices. This started April 1st documented. There was a Windows 11 update and an iPhone update at that time. :(
You rely on the internet and Windows to turn on your CPAP machine?
Sounds like a population control scheme to me. ;-)
Welcome to the world of the internet of things!

I dont rely on it, I monitor my daily useage with it.
Did your systems change bands or upgrade to 5g
Nope, no intentional changes. HOWEVER, in a parallel investigation, Xfinity thinks there could be an issue with our wifi access point, and is sending a new one. Weird, all the other wifi stuff, PC's Laptops, printer, all mostly work fine, except for a minor problem my daughter which led to a call to xfinity.. We'll see if that makes a difference.
My wifi analyzer tells me everyone is following the rules on channel usage, so interference should not be an issue.

From many years of experience I offer this clue.
Make sure every device is currently updated.
Do a hard reboot of each item, starting with your modem.
If that does not fix it, log out and log back into your account on each item."
If the stars are aligned, the demons suppressed and Murphy is asleep, all may work again.
I don't know what you guys are talking about...and I'm glad!
Problem solved. It appears the Xfinity access point developed an issue, deciding not to pass on certain types of signals, such as Nest or Wemo stuff, and some of the stuff my daughter uses. Everything else, the normal Google stuff, CNN, PBase, all still worked fine.
Anyway, Xfinity agreed the problem was in the firmware in their box, and the new AP arrived tonight. All is back to normal.
