the officer and me had just removed the woman with the other officer from her apartment above a cleaners...the cleaners had been torched by persons unknown...i was sitting in our car and he was coming back so we could get back into the fun and games....being in uniform, i couldn't stand out and take pix....just snapshots....we didn't have riot helmets issued....we were given ww2 air raid helmets ....we wore them about 10 minutes and chucked them....very unmanageable....the officer standing in back of the fire engine is wearing one.....

thanks....couldn't help it....had to shoot from my location....being sneaky.....knowing how i feel now, i just shoulda carried the camera every day and just took shots and not worry about being seen....50/50 hindsight....
