A pre-Raphaelite composite, at least, that's the intention. I think it manages to portray some of the PRB's intent - attention to detail, a lack of focal perspective, bright colours, a story (of sorts) - and the bonus of a red-haired lady. What more could you ask? Please say if you disagree, any cc is welcome.

Another of your fine composites. My only nit pic, the bench seems to modern for the scene.

Ah, couldn’t do much about that Frank, it’s part of the setting and had the model on it, she’s not composited. Would take quite a bit of effort to replace it - but it didn’t really strike me as out of period until you mentioned it!

Time travel by photo, I can imagine myself being there playing the lute, pretending to be a eunuch, and having a sly smile on my face hoping my music and other skills satisfied these ladies.

Magnetoman, You did well with this time piece.

Excellent, Dave!

Do you track the hours you spend on these extravagant composites? I’m figuring prolly a month or more ….

Thanks Don, I too can imagine you playing the lute - not sure you have the right temperament to pull off the eunuch trick though!

Thanks Stan. The main elements for this one were taken on a shoot last week, so not too long as it’s the second composite from the shoot. Others however may well take more than a month - and some sit around for a very long time waiting for the inspiration to return so they can be completed. I have several large part-finished images that may see the light of day at some time in the future. My approach is, there’s no hurry so take your time. If I pop off before they’re done nobody’s going to be too disappointed! That’s the difference between doing things for fun and doing it for a living I guess.

Beautiful work. Good composition, idea, and execution. I was waiting to see if all the image elements originated from your camera and since they did you get my highest kudos.
