Some of you might already be aware of this. I'm just posting for those that don't.

WOW!

Thanks for the heads up!

("Remember 'Process Manager'.... I imagine the real system manager need not ask for permissions.)

I refuse to use Android. Twice, I've had Android tablets (made in China) and discovered on both of them built-in spyware. Not removable. Even reformatting and reinstalling Android wouldn't remove the crud. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Never again.

Brand of tablet?
Or are you condemning all Android systems based on one tablet brand?
Our Galaxy Tab E has never had a problem, yet.

Two different brands. Unknown now, because they found a new home in a landfill. I also used (briefly) an ASUS tablet that was nearly impossible to configure to my liking.

I'm not suggesting ALL Android systems are suspect. I'm just saying that my experience with them has convinced me that I will never again use an Android device.

Maybe not suggesting, but implying. At least that's what I inferred.
BTW - Should recycle electronics, not sent to a landfill (trash can).....
