Not much posted of late so I have some images from the past. Done at Nic's photo workshop here in San Antonio, I miss ol' Nic, a WW II Vet, flew a glider in on D-day and just stayed on the ground fighting Nazis till Berlin. He was a mans man, made money after the war boxing in his beloved New York City. Knew everyone including Bettie Page and his first trip to Texas was to Houston installing the large panels for Mark Rothko at the chapel. Followed the tradition of painting, he loved working with the nude, that is how he got the figure photography for photographers at his industrial warehouse studio.


Starena (aka Lalinn) was a regular at Nic's photo workshops, would visit from New Mexico about the time Model Mayhem came on the scene. Loads of fun and lots of vino, so bohemian!

The last three were done with some old 1950's ladies garments that some one donated to the studio. The mirror and red princess chair, as Emma dubbed it came from store displays that were cycled out from Half Price Books on Broadway here in San Antonio, one of the last of the real used book stores still in operation. Love that place.

You got it! She is a saucy little minx! Always talking about aspiring to the ancient traditions of the temple whore. There are certain women who model and they delight so in the 'male gaze'. This is my kind of model, while some men insist that they are uncomfortable with this brand of woman, me I tell you a just can't get enough of these babes!

Speaking of being uncomfortable, that first image was from her first set that day, then she darted back to the dressing area, and I got the feeling she was a little upset. So I went and asked if everything was alright. Star was seated in front of mirror, crying! I asked her what gave, why the big upset?

"They stopped taking pictures, the don't like me!" was what she blustered out!

I stood there and let out a small giggle, "You silly thing, they stopped shooting and sat down or turned away to fiddle with their gear because they all got embarrassed! Were guys and you devastated us all and we got aroused, but I don't care, I like your wicked dance that raises the one eye snake!"

She couldn't help herself, she abruptly looked at the bulge in my trousers.

"You too Timmy!", and the tears went away replaced with a big smile, "Naughty boy!"

So she decided to try the old lingerie from the 50's for her second set.

She was coming out to do they next set, I leaned in as she approached the modeling stand and I whispered close to her ear, "I hope the temple's whore has returned, please!"

She gave me a wink and said, "Of course!".

The photo labeled, "Selfie from Starena 2022 in her home recording studio." with her tongue slightly out says, I am sensual and enjoy it as do you. This selfie is a photo I would show to any lady reluctant to posing with a degree of nudity; expressing the humor of human sexuality.

Oddly, phychologically, the gloves, the three pieces of thick gold, and the nose dot are elements that add "I am not-fully-nude" to the photo.

alexol, I could not agree with you more! But it is not just on the Hog, seems most of the other locations are returning to the type of posts of nude women images that were found a decade or more ago. That is fine, and probably typical of the male viewer's taste, but it is not what I find with the women I have and do work with.

Current/modern women are ever so delighted to see themselves quite different from the view that we boys have. Many are no longer content to be seen as the roll of the traditions of semi bad girls. And my favorite, they have gone over to the world of kink!

Recently, I was being reviewed for a new fitting for my chronic physical problem with my lower legs called vinous insufficiency. The rather pretty young woman who was measuring my legs was chatting with me and she asked what I did. Retired but I do a lot of photography as I explained I was an artist.

As the conversation went we went back to the compression elastic leg wraps that I use to help with my leg management. The subject came up about the way I was handling the Velcro failing attachment, this lead to my explaining of Velcro One. This lead to my comments about modern women having an interest in bondage.

Seems inappropriate but I really could care less about such things. So on my return for the check on the fitting of the new custom devices I brought a roll of 3/4 and 1 1/2 inch Velcro One materials and gave her the 'samples' from Home Depot, and that she could find the same at Lowell's, but if she was looking for young good looking guys who were 'cute' guys them why not go 'shopping' at a Home Depot, the Professional Store at Fair Road, she could take a girl friend and have a field day looking around at all the men she liked!

She was totally up for this idea! Long and short of it, I get this weird phone call from her, but at first It took a bit to realize it was her. She was at the Fair Road location with two of her girl friends and yes, she and her friends were having a great time with all the men in a store for men doing guy stuff!

It turned out to be a great day for her and her friends to go boy hunting and for me because they did a stop over to my studio and spent the afternoon playing dress up with all the wardrobe I have. The shoes were the item that sealed the deal. Now they want to return and play dress up and such. You never know where you will discover new subjects for girly images.

Hey there dpullum, love your observations! The whole thing about gestures is right on. The tongue thing is a part of body language that is not grasp by most. In women it is part of sexual arousal that expresses itself as a form of body language. When women are vary open and wanting to non verbal indicating the state of arousal, this is one of the clear indications of sexual arousal. I consider this one of the clear indicators and when I would teach about nude modeling it was something that I would cover with photographers, but also with women models as well.
