I have an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 that a friend gave me. She never got it connected to her computer, and then she moved. So she gave it to me! I wanted to be able to print 16x's, but I had no place in my office for it, and a friend told me that a cable that long wouldn't work. It's heavy, so shipping could be expensive. But, if you can use it, it's yours. Either pick it up or pay for the shipping.

See for yourself. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Epson-Stylus-Pro-3800-Large-Format-Printer/182754376?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=4408

Many other vendors sell it for the same price or close.

if it sells for that much maybe reconsider...and also get more tech advice on the cable issue. That seems dubious to me. Lots of $$ at stake here.

As with Hip Coyote, too long a cable? I'd sure check that out.

That printer has an ethernet cable port on it. See the following........

Ethernet Cable Length
The maximum length of a Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable is about 295 ft. (90 m), plus up to 16 ft. (5 m) of patch cable on either end, for a total of 328 feet or 100 meters. Beyond this, the signal begins to degrade, reducing the speed and reliability of the connection.

Well, it was a computer guy who told me that. Who was I to disbelieve? Thanks for the info.
