I don't use blinds often, but in specific circumstances they can be a very valuable asset. the Tragopan photo blind is a brand that I have in my arsonal of equipment. they make a few different ones, of which I use two. The shots here are taken from the Hokki ground blind. I find shooting water associated wildlife often difficult with stalking techniques if I want the best shots - which are ones from ground level. So here are some from yesterday afternoon. i posted a few, but was able to capture a few dozen like these.
The blinds were set up three weeks ago, and the wildlife is now pretty accepting to their presence. Enjoy.

Definitely worth your effort. Beautiful shots.

Beautiful images Dave! I have a portable blind given to me as gift which I have yet to use. You have inspired me
to get out and set it up.

Thank you Ron. It is a combination of patience and practice...with a bit of luck sprinkled about. LOL

Thanks, Mike. When you get older, the ground blind is more difficult to get out of, than it ever is to get in. But it can pay off as well.

Yes it would have, but I couldn't crop what wasn't in the frame. LOL I had to do the best I could. Almost thought of cropping to eliminate the reflection altogether. Thanks for the comment, Jim.
