I guess this shoot was the closest I came to working with someone who later became "famous" (well moderately famous). This is Bridget Marquardt circa 2000, who later moved to LA, into the Playboy mansion and became on of Hugh's 3 girlfriends and star of "The Girls Next Store". She actually was from the town I lived in. Couple things I remember most about Bridget, she was a very petite lady overall. A very good model, and one of the probably top two smartest ladies who modeled I have worked with. I remember sitting and talking with her for a bit during a break and she was smart and savvy and knew what she wanted. Even at the time she said she was going to go to LA and get into Playboy. I just nodded my head. Stranger part of the story is she was married, but that is a different story that if you want to know, just google it. Anyway, not a great photo for Film Friday this week, but my closest brush with fame and fun to remember her as I was digging though the file archives.

It was a group shoot, one of the first I did as I was just starting to have enough disposable income to pay for this type shoot vs begging friends to pose. Guy named Don Lemon, who had published a few books I had purchased put on the event and I had a nice time and hopefully learned something, particularly about using flash outside. Like to think I learned something about posing models, but often they were pros and just knew what to do and when, which made me look better than I probably was.

I thought so by the pose but agree with you when first starting and learning angles, lighting, composition, etc with models don't need added pressure of directing every detail of their pose. And a great place to meet models if have a project for 1-on-1 shoot coming up.
