Bratislava, Slovakia in 2010
In June 2010 I went on a cruise of the Danube, Main, and Rhine Rivers with Avalon Waterways (now part of the Globus group). One of the port calls was Bratislava, Slovakia. The capital city, it is in southwestern Slovakia at the foot of the Little Carpathians, occupying both banks of the River Danube and the left bank of the River Morava. Herewith a few pictures of this interesting city.

Thank you! You're welcome.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
Traveling from Budapest to Vienna in 2018 my wife and I made a short stop in Bratasalva. We didn't have much time there. Thanks for showing some more of what we missed. Did you happen to see the Sewer worker statue there?
Appreciate the tour Dave...terrific history captured here!!

Yes, I did see Cumil, but not in 2010 when these photos were made. I visited Bratislava again in 2014 and that's when I saw the statue.

I just rediscovered that visit to Bratislava in 2014 and I've got lots more photos. I need to make another Set (or 2)--several churches I went into.
Congratulations on a lovely series of photographs. Looks like a place I would love to visit someday.
