A few weeks back I was in a thread about transferring photos and what people do in that regard. And one gentleman (my apologies, I don't remember who it was) suggested this app. Sendanywhere.com. Well I tried it and I have to say, it is a neat little app. I've been using it for a few weeks and it transfers files from my phone to the PC with little effort. Doing a few files isn't a big deal I know. I usually email them to myself or plug the phone in to the PC and drag and drop or copy. But today I had 199 pics from a granddaughter's dance competition that I had to download to my phone. It was the only option for this particular venue. 1.65 GB and I transferred them all in about 20 minutes. It does videos and ordinary file docs as well. No muss, no fuss. So kudos to you sir, whomever you are, that was an outstanding recommendation.
It appears the domain name is now up for sale, and the "upload file" takes you to a different websites.

send-anywhere.com works better.

That's not the same site. See my link above, or copy and paste what OP posted.

Your Phone app (Microsoft free app) will allow transfer to/from wirelessly plus many other functions.

Yes that is correct. Download the phone app. It will take you to the correct site.
When I want to transfer files I use Windows Explorer and a USB cable as I would for any external drive.
Another website for sending large amounts of data (photos or any other kind) is
www.WeTransfer.com. You can send up to 2Gb in one transfer, it's free and there is no limit to how many 2Gb transfers you do.

I've used it a good bit, and I second your recommendation. WeTransfer.com is a treasure.

Yeah, I haven't even understood the question unless iPhones are different? Anything from an Android phone can be transferred with one drag & drop regardless of number, size, etc. And if the plug end comes off the charging cord phone already provides the cable.
It’s really useful to send large files to a friend or relative. All they need is the app on their pc or phone.

I just tried WeTransfer and it is very good. The receiving party doesn’t require the app. It creates a link. That’s even better.
