Every so often a storm will reveal what use to be a supply railroad along the Delaware Bay in NJ. A few years ago the sand was eroded enough to capture the tracks. Pretty weird to experience

A nice photo! Is the Coast Guard base still there at Cape May?? I went thru boot camp there in 1958 or 59.

Dick, It is still there, my grandson graduated earlier this month.
Thanks and Oh Yeah still there. They still have a great graduation ceremony.

That's great, thanks! I remember old barracks 170. There was a couple guard towers down by the ocean, left over from WW2, we had to do night 'guard duty' in them, looking out for 'Nazi subs', scared hell of me, 18 years old, my M1 rifle, farm kid, looking out over that black water for 4 hours! Damn, I'd do it all again!!!
