“There’s an app for that?”

I've hiked the syncline trail loop https://www.earthtrekkers.com/syncline-loop-trail-canyonlands/ twice, once in the right direction in late summer, 2007, and once in the wrong direction in late summer, 2017. The wrong direction and 10 years older at 74 nearly did me in. If I had known about the AllTrails app and used it back in 2017 I would have known which direction to go on the loop. Now I have a lifetime membership with AllTrails and can see the profile of virtually any trail in the country on their iPhone app. There are numerous other apps similar to and even better than AllTrails, so there is no good excuse to not be prepared for hiking challenging trails.

I agree 100%, and my goal is to never again produce bad images. I simply cannot wear bifocals, and I need 2X reading glasses to see closeup sharp, which makes it more difficult to get the correct focus. And I will not look over my reading glasses pushed out to the end of my nose as some do. I will look for camera apps that highlight out-of-focus regions so that I don't always have to be grabbing my reading glasses to get into focus.

Remember, when all else fails, you can always use your blurry images as ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) images. LOL. Yep, ICM is used to get creative with your camera. The older I get, the more Creative my images become. LOL.
