A wonderful set Jack! Not trying to be a jerk but your first shot is a White-lined Sphinx Moth (Hyles lineata). They can often be confused with hummingbird moths. The Kestrel shot is excellent. Fine work.

No jerk Doc, I'm always open to corrections. I'm very good with bird ID's but bugs are a whole different story
Certainly enjoyed your bird images. Very nice.
Great photos as usual. Well done on all of them.
Not toward you personally but for other members who commented on others being in the area, let's not forget that all types of open spaces available to the public are there for all of us, not just those who want to take photographs of birds or anything else. IF as Jack pointed out someone walked between him and the subject then it could be explained to that person the rudeness he expressed toward Jack. But everyone has a right to be there no matter if they are taking photographs of birds, flying a kite or whatever they visit the land for. I am sure there is no sign on the entry saying, For photographers of birds ONLY.

Not a lot of wildlife but tons of people scaring the birds right before the shutter release
