I am looking for a good tripod mount for my iPhone 13 Pro Max that includes a remote shutter release. I have one, but the blue tooth remote doesn’t seem to work anymore. Anyone have any good suggestions? Much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, I did use the search function, but didn’t find anything new.
If the mount itself is okay, couldn't you simply buy a replacement blue tooth remote to trigger your phone's camera?

I haven’t found one yet, but I’m still looking.

I'm using a Camkix...it works with Android and iPhone. Camkix.com.

I recall finding dozens of very inexpensive Bluetooth remotes for iPhones on Amazon.

That’s the one I currently have. It used to work just fine, but now it won’t pair to my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Why don't you just mount your camera on a tripod and use your phone as the remote? Or are you not going to use your regular camera?
Have you looked at golf cell phone holders?. They are designed to take pictures - motion and in some models stills - and have small remote controls as well. There are a lot on Amazon....here is just one: Phone Tripod - 67" [360° Rotation Mount & Heavy Duty] iPhone Tripod Stand with Remote, NEXBOOM Tripod for iPhone, Fit for iPhone 13 Pro Max / 13 Pro / 12 Pro Max/Samsung S21/Camera/GoPro.

The idea is to use my phone as a camera, and I need a remote for it.
I can use my regular camera, however, often the northern lights are fickle and one moment they’re there and the next they are gone or fading. The iPhone allows me some spontaneity in a moment. If I know there is going to be a good display sometime, and I can get to a suitable location, I’ll use either my A6300 or RX100VII. I have a remote for each of them.

I ordered a remote from Amazon last evening. It’s not that brand, however.
That’s the same tripod mount and remote that I already have, only the remote doesn’t work with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Fortunately the tripod mount does work.

Hi Wingpilot, In my experience, a good bluetooth remote doesn’t exist. One minute they work fine, the next they turn up the volume. WTF? The Zodiac from Amazon seems like the most reliable.
Try keeping your auto-lock (settings > display and brightness) to never. This seems to help.
If a remote is absolutely crucial, use your earbuds (wired) volume up button. It has never failed me. Good luck and let me know if you find a good one.
PS. SHUTTERGRIP is just as bad although the concept is great.
