I'm pleased the way this restoration turned out so I am just posting the finished product.

I, too, am pleased with the finished product. The 3D is really good.

As before, by reducing the image size I can get the separation to match my inter-pupillary distance and get the 3D result without a viewer.

Thanks. I know Side-by-Side stereo's are tough to view in 3D when you don't have a viewer. But they are much better and have better color than anaglyphs. Stereo Viewers range from antique to modern, expensive to cheap. Shown is an Antique Stereo Opticon viewer and a modern version which works with a cell phone held by Brian May from the band Queen, a big stereo fan.

Yeah, my Pentax Optio 555 came with a plastic folding device that had the 2 lenses and looks quite a bit like the one you show with the cell phone. I forgot that I had it! If I find it I will give it a try. It might avoid the headaches from doing 3D without the viewer.

Fotoartist again your work is museum quality. I can envision a section of a photo museum devoted to stereo photos. [Tampa has a photo museum] These two beauties entertaining themselves, all ruined my TV that replaces such. I expect to see your soon to be compiled traveling exhibit locally.

Normal viewing devices are not needed by the kid in your high-school who was cross-eyed, he had no problem seeing in 3D, nature gave him the ability to see 3D photos:

I had forgotten about the 3D hidden image random dot photos that were a rage in 1990s; thanks for reminding.

Just to be clear, these images are presented in "parallel" viewing mode, not "cross-eyed." If viewed with the cross-eyed technique you will see depth in the image, but everything will be reversed and the women will be "hollow" or concave, as opposed to convex, and they will be more in the background than foreground. The image will be very baffling.

Yes, the Mind's eye, is confused when we do not see the norm-primitive brain expectations. The following takes us on an adventure of wrestling with the Mind's crossed eyes. [How to]

The camera mentioned by JohnFrim, Pentax Optio 555, will produce a 3D pair for parallel viewing. "In 3D mode, the camera produces three-dimensional "stereo pairs" of images similar to old-fashioned stereographs."
