Beautiful day yesterday at the Viera Wetlands. Another alligator mother and babies spotted, and one we have been watching now has even more babies hanging around. These seem smaller than ones we saw before, so they might be from a second clutch of eggs. We could see about ten in the pool near - and on top of - this mother, but heard other babies chirping in the reeds - either her babies or perhaps those of another. This mother is recognizable by an injury to her right foreleg.
