It's time for birds to mate and nest in Florida. They are nesting in the hundreds now using the alligators below to keep nest predators away. We used our photographer's passes to get in early before the crowds arrives. It's the best bird opportunity anywhere close to me.

Love your Roseate Spoonbills! It is not a bird we often see in Az but about 3 years ago a female flew into the Gilbert Water Ranch and stays during the winter. She hangs out with the Egrets while she is here. We are all hoping she will bring a mate back with her. Thanks for posting.
