The first shot shows the Bald Eagle as he flys through the park area where the ducks and gulls rest and preen.
The next shots show the ducks "flushing" a term we used in the USAF to denote the mass scramble of all flyable jets to prevent destruction.
Tried an abstract of a Bald Eagle shot. What do you think?
Finally gull with a fish, a sculpin I believe flys off, not relinquishing its meal.
A kewl, calm day, 48 F, lite breeze from the South Southwest. Intermittently cloudy and sunny with some haze. All images posted here were taken at over 200 Yards distant!
D850, 500pF, 1/4000, f 8, ISOs from 1000 to 4000, no CPL, EC +1.0, no background manupulation. Handheld, A* white balance.
Fun to watch the eagles zoom around chasing ducks or gulls then veering off as the eagle decides the chase will be fruitless. The ducks and gulls return to their previous activities then the eagles fly through again. Interesting!
Download and enjoy!
Excellent set, Tim! Put #1 on your wall.

Thanx! Abstract in the sense that the sky (background) was changed and the bird was “enhanced.”
Really nice. Even the “abstract “.
Outstanding flight shots. They make it look effortless.
Outstanding, Tim. I really like the Pintail hen and the first eagle image.
