Tombstone on Barters Island, Maine

This is my wife's ancestral cemetery. Her family name is Barter.
I wonder how long it takes a tree to envelope, break in half and lift a tombstone?

Now there's one you can be pretty sure is a unique shot. I don't think I've ever seen something like that where it's both so obvious and yet so unlikely to conclude what happened. Great catch! 👍

I don't unless it's a Family cemetery. The last cemetery I visited before this one was my Family cemetery where we placed the ashes of my Mom and Dad on top of my oldest brother's grave per request of my parents. Not a happy event and I won't be going back. We did scatter wildflower seeds, I hope they are doing well.
