Sorry. I just added "file" to my post. It supposedly converts all kinds of files.

That looks like a useful piece of software. Interestingly I was only looking at a pdf yesterday that I had from many years back, back in my Windows days, and musing about how to convert it to an Open Office file.

Haven't tried it, but I was wondering if it would convert a PDF to WAV.

Try simply opening it in LibreOffice or OpenOffice.

PDF = cross platform document format.
WAV = non-compressed audio file

Am I missing something?

I looked at the website and there wasn't anything that specified that the source and target formats had to be compatible.

It would be nice if it would take a PDF and read it to me. Don't know what it would do with the pictures.
