A Gathering On The Beach

Look! There’s a beach, sunset and people. Good time for me to practice taking silhouette photos. I couldn’t decide between color and Black n White so I did both. Edits done with the Snapseed app on my phone, then posted to the Hog using my phone.

Excellent! Tough call. Some might see a happy beach scene while I sense an apocalyptic mood (the B&W conveys that somewhat better). So which one you prefer depends on what you see or want to see. But that"s part of what makes these images so good!

I prefer the color shot. The black and white image is probably more dramatic, but the intense color of the setting sun is lost to a bland grey sky. The color has both moodiness and liveliness, as well as movement. Thanks for sharing.
